VISA EXEMPTION FOR CITIZENS OF SOME EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

As a common rule, you must have a valid visa stamp to enter a country. The recent visa exemption for European citizents travelling to Vietnam will remove the barrier for you to better enjoy your trip.On 18.06.2015, Vietnamese Government issued Resolution No. 46 / NQ-CP on a term visa exemption for citizens of some European countries.

Accordingly, the conditions for visa-free is defined as followings:- Citizens from these countries: UK, France, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Kingdom of Spain, the Republic of Italy;

– The length of stay in Vietnam does not exceed 15 days from the date of entry, regardless of the type of passport, immigration purposes;- Meet all the conditions prescribed by the law of Vietnam.The policy of visa exemption applies for 1 year, from July 1st, 2015 to June 30th, 2016, and is considered an extension under the provisions of Vietnam’s law.

Thanks to this preferential policy, it is estimated that the number of foreign visitors coming to Vietnam will increase rapidly.
