1. Fukian Assembly Hall (Phuc Kien)

One of the five famous Assembly Halls Hoi An, Fukien Assembly Hall was erected around 1690 to function as a place for the Chinese ethnic group from Fukien, China to socialize and worship.

2 .Cau Pagoda

As known as Jewel is in the heart of Hoi An, it’s small but contains many vicissitudes under mysterious tiled roof. Bridges  was built in the late 16th century and it was known as the Japanese bridge. In 1719, when Lord Nguyen Phuc Nguyen walked here, he has set for Lai Vien Kieu bridge three digits. In the middle of the bridge there is a small temple worship Huyen Thien Great. Cau Pagoda is quite nicely with the texture, decoration express harmony between architectural styles Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and Western.

3. The Chinese Assembly Halls

As the Chinese immigrants reached the central part of Vietnam known as Hoi An today, they decided to create the opportunities for themselves and the next generations to socialize and protect the Chinese traditions by building many Assembly Halls :

  • Trung Hoa Assembly Hall (Ngu Bang Assembly Hall)
  • The Ghaozhou Hall (Trieu Chau)
  • Cantonese Assembly Hall (Quang Dong)

4.The Tran Family Chapel

No one has the courage to state which exact place in Hoi An is most ancient and beautiful, but many people know the Tran Family Chapel is one of the oldest and most historical houses in this city.

5. Old House of Tan Ky

In the Old Quarter of Hoi An Ancient Town, Tan Ky Old house is an almost perfect example of a 18th merchant’s residence in this major commercial port town. The name Tan Ky, meaning “Progress Shop”, was given to the house by the second generation to express the owner’s wish for a prosperous business.

6. Hoi An Traditional Art Performance Theatre

Walking around the Old Quarter of Hoi An, tourists are always fascinated by endless reminiscences of a past time when the old town was a major commercial port, a center of cultural inter minglement amongst Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese.

You must see the place in Vietnam! The architecture of the ancient town, with Chinese, French and Vietnamese influences, makes the city interesting and very pretty. The river adds to the atmosphere and the city comes to life at night with colorful lanterns everywhere. Restaurants line the river and the breeze makes outdoor eating delightful. No motor vehicles are allowed in here.
