HOW TO GET FROM VIENTIANE TO VANG VIENG EASILY: 

The distance between Vientiane to Vang Vieng is around 150 kilometers on a winding pothole dirt and some bitumen road. All the signs in Vang Vieng say that it takes around three hours to reach Vientiane. Bus is the most favorable for the trip from Vientiane to Vang Vieng. The time also varies depending on how fast your driver wants to drive. The slower the better.

All the caves are managed and maintained by the communities or local entrepreneurs.
