Day 1: Ha Noi arrive (no meal)
Welcome to Vietnam! Warmly welcome by our driver and transfer privately by the comfortable car to the hotel in Ha Noi.
Check in hotel and relax in Ha Noi city.
Day 2: Ha Noi Sights (B,L)
After a truly scrumptious breakfast, you will get ready for a full day viewing Hanoi’s attractions. Your first stop is the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Mausoleum, Uncle Ho’s former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, followed by the Literature Temple, Vietnam’s first University constructed in 1070. In the afternoon, explore the Museum of Ethnology, which contains an extensive display of life-size structures dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minorities. Next, enjoy an hour-long cyclo ride winding through the narrow, chaotic streets of the Old Quarter – a must for any visitor to Hanoi. Afterwards you will enjoy a Water puppet show– the unique Traditional Art in the North of Vietnam
Day 3: Ha Noi – Lang Son – Cao Bang (L, D)
After breakfast then you are picked up form hotel and stranfer to Lang Son. We will start by driving in the direction of the Chinese border for about 3 hours. On the way, stopping at Chi Lang Pass – a 20-km-long gorge created from a narrow valley between two mountains. Here you will have roughly an hour to walk around and explore the area around the Quy Mon Quan Gate, which translates as “The Gate of Monsters”.
After lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Dang, you will continue your trip into the pass, stopping to visit Mother’s Temple and Dong Khe – an important historical site .
In the evening you will get to enjoy dinner and overnight in a hotel in Cao Bang city.
Day 4: Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Ba Be Lake (B,L,D)
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for Trung Khanh which lies right on the border with China. Here you will have a chance to meet and interact with the local Nung people living in the village of Phuoc Sen, a mountainous village famous for its traditional blacksmithing. Watching amazing landscapes is the breath-taking Ban Gioc Waterfall which spans over 300 meters, split half and half between Vietnam and China.
Then go to Nguom Ngao Cave, for a very different, but no less impressive natural wonder. You will then return to Cao Bang town and head down the “snake pass” to Ba Be Lake, where you will stay overnight in a homestay constructed in traditional Tay fashion. Here you can relax and enjoy a delicious and authentic home-cooked meal.
Day 5: Ba Be Lake – Ha Noi (B, L)
After breakfast then you get on a boat and embark for your tour of the river and lake. On board you can decide yourself how to spend your time: relaxing in the sun, wildlife spotting or swimming around the boat.
The boat will then continue along the Nang River, giving you a chance to explore the caves of Puong Grotto where you can marvel at the stalactites and stalagmites created through river erosion, as well as observe the thousands-strong bat colony that lives here.
Come back and overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 6: Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay (B,L,D)
Join group tour for 2 days and 1 night to visit Ha Long by cruise.
Our shuttle bus picks up you at the hotel in Ha Noi old quarter then depart to Halong. This 4-hour drive will take you to Halong Bay, a World Heritage Site recognised by UNESCOin 1994. Located in the Gulf of Tonkin, Halong Bay includes some 1,600 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Because of their precipitous nature, most of the islands are uninhabited and unaffected by a human presence. The site’s outstanding scenic beauty is complemented by its great biological interest.
Upon arrival in Halong bay, you board our Junk for an overnight boat trip. After lunch you begin our fantastic cruise in Halong Bay. The scenery is truly breathtaking and is continuously changing. This includes a visit to Sung Sot Cave, round over Tuan Chau Island, Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island and a swim at Titov beach. Enjoy dinner on board while watching the sunset.
Overnight on Cruise
Day 7: Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi (B, L)
After an early breakfast you continue the cruise to visit Man‘s Head island, Tortoise Island, Bai Tu Long Bay, Toad Island and Bai Tho Mountain.
At noon, return to the shore and disembark from the cruise as our crew say farewell.
Get on bus to get back to Hanoi. Overnight in Ha Noi
Day 8: Ha Noi – depart (B)
Have breakfast. Free relax and explore Ha Noi.
Then Transfer to the airport for your return flight home
