Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (L,D)
Our guide and driver meet you at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city, we start the trip to My Tho. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking in the village paths to contemplate orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and Vietnamese folk music performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.
Be rowed in a small sampan through the Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business & bee-keeping farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
Have lunch at the local restaurant. Break time.
The afternoon is time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meeting the local people to experience their daily life in the Mekong delta. Relaxing on hammocks to enjoy the cool breeze is for those do not want to join the cycling trip. Proceed to Can Tho City and overnight in Can Tho

Day 2: Cai Rang Floating Market – “Green paradise” of Tra Su Cajuput Forest – Chau Doc ( B/L/D )
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a leisure boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River) then visit to Cai Rang floating market which is the liveliest one in the whole of region.
Walking trip to visit the fruit plantation and local noodle factory. Then we proceed to Tra Su Cajuput Forest.
Tra Su Forest stretches out a total area of 1,500 hectares, featured with a very rich ecological system. The flora includes over 140 species; among them, cajuputs cover almost all the area. The forest is the habitat for many colonies of water birds, bats and various others such as rare and endangered animals and reptile species.
From October to November is the best time to visit the forest as the whole forest is floated in water and you can exploring Tra Su Cajuput Forest by a boat (Others period of the year still very beautiful and Tra Su is a must see for natural lover to come to Chau Doc). It must be an awesome experience when sitting on the boat and go through enormous green duckweed covering the water’s surface with tall and huge cajuputs standing densely. You can also observe thousands white storks and other colorful species of birds flying above or perching on the branches.
The further you go, the more peaceful you feel. It seems like you are lost in a green paradise with cool and fresh atmosphere. In that charming green, amazing yellow field of sesbania flowers and pink ponds lotus appear as picturesque scenery. Everything is incredibly nature.
After the tour in the forest, you can come back to go to the watchtower to see the whole vast and boundless view of Tra Su Forest and watch closely the daily activities of birds and storks through field glasses.
Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 3: Chau Doc – Border Crossing – Phnom Penh (B)
Early morning take speedboat from Chau Doc, cross border upstream to Cambodia. Arrive Phnom Penh at noon. Transfer to hotel for check in and leisure.
Day 4: Phnom Penh “Pearl of the East” (B/L)
Today, your guide will take you to the Royal Palace, built in 1866 by the French after King Norodom relocated the royal capital from Oudong. Located on the western banks of the Tonle Sap and Mekong River, the palace complex features stunning Khmer architecture, divided into 4 main compounds. The grounds of the Palace are also home to the Silver Pagoda, which received its name because its floor is made of 5,329 silver tiles. Learn about the Khmer kings, resident at all times, with the exception of the period when the Khmer Rouge took control in 1975. See gold and jeweled Buddha statues in the Silver Pagoda, and the Angkor Wat style Bell Tower. Then, learn about the turbulent years of the Khmer Rouge at the infamous Tuol Sleng Museum. Located in a former high school that was used as the notorious Security Prison 21, the Genocide Museum traces the story of the Killing Fields and the torture and executions that took place from 1975-79. See exhibits that tell the stories of some of the estimated 20,000 prisoners that were killed. Return to the city center and get stunning views of the Tonle Sap and Mekong River Side before tour ends.
