Afterward, driving from Ayeyarwaddy River toChauk takes about one hour. Here, you can enjoy daily life in morning markets. The next is driving to Seikphyu village. After that, we stop at one of the big Burmese villages, named Kazunma Village, in Magwe Division.
After lunch, we drive among the forested mountains. This is the best chance to take photos of the nature. Driving in the dry zone takes about 3 hours before we arrive at Saw, a small administrative town. Then keep driving about 12 miles to Kanpalat, a small administrative town of Chin People. Chin women with tattooed faces and Chin tribe’s ways of life can be observed in this small town. In the evening, check in Pine Wood Villa or the similar situated among the pine forest about 3000 feet above sea level.You have pleasurable dinner and night stay at Chin Eco Lodge in the. cool climatic condition on the hillDay 2: Kanpalat – Mt.Victoria – Aye VillageIn the next early morning, a scenic drive to the base camp of Mt. Victoria, 10 miles away from the lodge is the pleasure of the day. The sweet bird calls and pine forest will the beauty of the Mt.Victoria which is famous birding area for many endangered species of Burma. We then begin our hiking from the base camp, 6500 feet above sea level, to the top, 10200 feet. The quick steps up of the 3-hour-trek is a difficult while. The trek down is much easier than the way up. Continue driving by jeep to Aye Village, about 12 miles far away from the base camp for one and a half hours. It is a small Chin village, lied on the cliff of the forest hill. After strolling around the village, you catch pleasurable dinner and overnight in the village.
Day 3: Aye village- Kyardo village – LotePe Village- MindutFor this day, experience an hour trekking along the track down to a stream first and then another hour walking to Kyardo Village, for contemplation of the villagers’ clothes and ways of living. One thing interesting to mention is the animism and their beliefs on Sharman and Nat, as well as fortune telling by Sharman and Chin traditional dance. After lunch and a short rest, we continue trekking toward LotePe Village, an old Chin village lied on the peak of the hill. Their tattoo faced women, as well as interesting tradition, can be experienced there. One and a half trek down to Check Chaung Stream.Checking in a hotel and grabbing a delightful dinner on the hill including night stay.
Day 4.Mindut – PonetaungPonenyar- BaganA new day beginning brings us a new relish while sightseeing around Mindut’s morning market. On the way back to Bagan, we can stop for photos at the pine forest hills. Also, a short stop at the pinnacle of the Ponetaung Ponenyar mountain range, observing the breathtaking of small stupas and Nat shrines at the summit and, taking photos. We can visit some more Burmese villages after lunch. The sun is set when you arrive at the hotel in Bagan. End of tour.
