Day 6 – An adventure along the Mekong Delta (B, L, D)
It will be an all day excursion to the Mekong Delta. In this place, you can enjoy a river cruise passing through floating markets with colorful boats filled with fruits, rice, food, a floating market with fish-pond inside houses. Then stop at Thoi son island and have lunch with honey wine in an orchard looking over the river, followed by a folk show by locals. Day 7 – Let’s go and see Cu chi tunnel (B, D)
In the morning, we will take an excursion to the well-known Cu Chi Tunnels. It was built by the Vietcong during the war, the tunnels were part of an underground network that provided a stronghold close to the city. After exploring the tunnels, which took decades to dig, we’ll be back in Saigon. Afternoon is the free time for shopping or strolling arround Saigon. You will have dinner and stay in Saigon for the last day in Vietnam.
DAY 8 – Siem reap – First day exploring Cambodia (B, D)
You will be free before boarding a flight to Siem Reap in the morning, On arrival, you will have time to enjoy spectacular views from the gateway town to the monuments of Angkor. Later in the afternoon, we will climb to the summit of Pre Rup temple to enjoy the stunning views over the surrounding landscape and watch the sunset. That night you wil sleep in Siem riep of course.
Day 9 – Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom – an interesting chance to visit one of the most famous World Cultural Heritages (B, D)
This day, we will visit the highlight of any trip to Southeast Asia – the majestic Angkor Wat. This centuries-old monument is a stunning fusion of symmetry, spirituality and pure grandeur. Going on, visit Angkor Thom and the tour of monuments Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Day 10 – Returning Siem Riep (B, D)
This morning, we will visit the most ethereal of the temples of Angkor, Ta Prohn. We will travel by car to Banteay Srey temple ( 30Km from Siem Reap), citadel of women. After that, go to Kbal Spean, visit unique rock carving, called the river of 1000 lingas. The next would be an Excursion by boat to visit the Tonle Sap Lake, fishing village and mangrove forest. You will sleep in Siem riep for the last night.
Day 12 – The last day in our journey (B)
Of course you will be free hanging out around Siem Riep or shopping untill the plane departs.
